  1. A joke for the US.
  2. Its DISHONORABLE to the America as a whole!
  3. It's a stupid idea.. like we tell the frech to make their anthem in english
  4. i think it is good there are mexican people here and they should know it if they don`t care get out of the united states
  5. i don't know about that, but what do you say on whistling on anthem of Serbia & montenegro by it's own people? it's so fucked up. you should be lucky you know...
  6. considering that we'resupposed to be the melting pot, I think it's a great idea for all nationalities to have our national anthem in their native language.
  7. It's hard enough to sing in English.
  8. The beginning of the end; which is probably a good name for the spanish version. Soon will be gone the United States as we know it, and you might want to take a tour of Mexico to find out what our future holds for us.
  9. Why not?
  10. Shoot the fuck out of the guys singing it.
  11. This whole thing is a big disgrace. They came to this country and should abide by our ethics. If they want a spanish version do it in the spanish countries.
  12. Why not? Our (Canadian) national anthem is in our two official languages, and we took the French version and wrote our own words for the English version. And if you look read the versions of ours and understand both French and English versions, they have similar meanings and themes (home of our ancestors / home and native land, we stand on guard for thee / protect our rights and freedom, God keep our land glorious and free / because you know how to carry the sword you can carry the cross). The American National Anthem was only officially recognized in 1931. It was written by a lawyer and amateur poet based on his witnessing the British / Canadian attack on Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Maryland during the War of 1812. The tune is based, ironically enough on a popular British song called "To Anacreon in Heaven" which was actually a popular drinking song for a bunch of professional (lawyers, accountants, doctors) in the Anacreon club in London, England.
